About Me
I am a dedicated PhD candidate at the BioRobotics Institute of Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna in Pisa, Italy, working under the supervision of Prof. Gastone Ciuti. My research passion lies at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, where I specialize in time-series analysis and capacitive sensor applications for proximity tasks and Human-Robot Collaboration (HRC).
My current work focuses on developing innovative solutions using deep representation learning techniques to enhance AI capabilities in robotic systems. I am particularly interested in creating practical, real-world applications that improve the safety and efficiency of human-robot interaction through advanced sensing and intelligent control systems.
I hold a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, where I developed a strong foundation in machine learning, deep learning, and computational intelligence. My academic journey has equipped me with expertise in both theoretical frameworks and practical implementations of AI systems.
At the BioRobotics Institute, which is a leading research center in medical robotics, wearable technologies, and collaborative robotics, I am committed to advancing the frontier of AI in robotics. My goal is to develop innovative solutions that bridge the gap between cutting-edge research and practical applications, particularly in areas where robots can safely and effectively collaborate with humans in dynamic environments.
